As summer comes to an end, as do the various night markets hosted around Melbourne during the warmer months.
As soon as the clocks strike 5pm every Wednesday until March 30th, the Queen Victoria market turns into a haven of food stalls and various trinket shops – slightly different to the tourist hot-spot day version!
It can be a struggle to make your way through the market with the hoards of people enjoying the atmosphere and vibes, but with some determination and patience you’ll eventually make your way up and down each row to check out the various market stalls on offer.
Ranging from jewellery to crystals to artwork and even outfits for your pets, there’s a wide variety of everything on offer.
Top Tips:
- Avoid paying for parking by catching public transport with trams stopping right outside the market
- Although some stalls accept Eftpos, best to carry some cash in case you come across some goodies you really want!
