Despite having being to many festivals in my time, last night I attended my very first music concert, that’s if you don’t count seeing Hi-5 as a kid!
RÜFÜS, while in Australia on their Bloom World Tour, had the pleasure of being the wonderful act I saw at my first concert.
Held in Festival Hall in Melbourne, RÜFÜS, along with their support acts Tora from Byron Bay and Bob Moses from Vancouver, played a sold out concert.
All 3 acts where amazing! Despite never hearing of Tora or Bob Moses before, their sound was awesome and a great choice to open for RÜFÜS.
Although the constant shoving and pushing while having a boogie on the d-floor was thoroughly unpleasant, I guess that’s what you get when you attend a sold out concert, I would consider going to another concert again. I would without a doubt see RÜFÜS again that’s for sure!
TIPS:
- I would suggest always opting for floor section tickets rather than seats or the tickets in the stands. This way you can be closer to the acts but also have more freedom of movement as you’re not restricted to your assigned seat.
- Purchase tickets well in advance as they can sell out fast. I purchased the RÜFÜS tickets during pre-sale and within 2 days no more tickets were available.
