Best Places To Eat ↠ Seminyak, Bali

If there is one thing I feel like we’ve done a lot of this holiday, it is without a doubt eating.

At this point in time, I feel like we’ve eaten our way through Seminyak to Ubud, across to Gili Trawangan and now checking out what is on offer in Canggu.

It would be rude of me not to share my top picks for each location, so here goes.

If you find yourself in or around Seminyak at any point make sure to stop by some, if not all, of the hidden goodies I came across.

Nook

Down a side street overlooking the rice fields is where you’ll find this beauty. The set up alone is enough to be Instagram-able.

It’s a perfect setting for a relaxed time.

Sisterfields

Situated in central Seminyak (less than 5 minutes walk from Seminyak Square), it is on the more pricey side, but definitely still one worth checking out.

Their Dirty Burger is worth the calories.

Ling Ling’s

Now this place could quite easily be my absolute favourite in Seminyak. It’s perfect for pre dinner drinks, late arvo snacks, after dinner drinks; you name it, it’s good for it!

They have the most unique happy hour, which goes by the name happy lucky hour. Play a game of cards for your chance to get your next drink free. As far as happy hours go, theirs was a fun and memorable one.

Try their piña colada served in a pineapple, or for the more thirsty perhaps a frozen daiquiri in half a watermelon.

For an extra bonus: they serve corn chips and the most amazing salsa for free when you first arrive.

Taco Casa

The go to for good Mexican. The soft tacos and nachos were delish.

Merah Puti

Definitely one of the more classy places. The inside decor is stunning, resembling a green house, and the menu offers dishes from traditional Indonesian nasi goreng to seafood delicacies such as lobster tail (the broth that it came in was AMAZING, I could have just drank a bottle of it).

The Moon Rabbit

If it’s dumplings or Chinese cuisine you’re after then look no further, The Moon Rabbit is the one.

The Holy Crab

Although I would probably not go here again, if you’re into seafood and the Americanised way of eating it then this is the place for you. Don’t get me wrong, it was good at the time just not some where I would frequent again.

Be warned, it does get pretty messy and the bill quickly racks up.

Motel Mexicola
Another Mexican goodie to add to the list, this one has a super chill, beach vibe to it and serves some damn fine tacos.
